Character Definitions
Character Goals:
- Trust – Knowing that my parents and teachers care about me and want me to enjoy the water
- Joyfulness – Being happy inside and out (“Happy Heart”)
- Respect – Treating my parents and teachers the way I should
- Courage – Trying new or sometimes scary things in the water
- Obedience – Doing what my parents and teachers tell me the first time I am told and with a good attitude
- Self Control – Doing what I am told with a good attitude even if I don’t want to
- Contentment – Being happy I get to swim with the rules I am given
- Eagerness- Excited to learn new things
- Diligence- Working hard to accomplish my tasks
- Responsibility- Remembering what I have learned and practicing my new skills on my own
