FORT WORTH FAMILY SWIM SCHOOL
Combining confidence with character
About FWFSS
Over forty years ago, the Capper sisters began teaching swimming lessons in their backyard pool. Today, Fort Worth Family Swim School continues the family tradition of offering top quality swim lessons to the Fort Worth community. FWFSS was established in 2005 by four cousins who are children to the Capper siblings.
For the past twenty years, FWFSS has successfully taught over six thousand children how to swim throughout the greater DFW metroplex. FWFSS takes pride in providing the highest standard of excellence in not only water safety, basic swimming skills, and proper stroke work, but also in teaching character development throughout the lessons.

Client Reviews
After two summers of group lessons with little results, we were ready for 1 on 1 classes for our 6 year old. He made great improvement and thoroughly enjoyed being in the water for the first time. Huge thanks to Bennett for teaching him! FWFSS instructors were so kind and patient with our 2 year old who was NOT thrilled about his first summer of swim lessons. Our boys still talk about their instructors and they've both continued to grow in their confidence in and around the water throughout the summer.

I cannot say enough great things about Fort Worth Family Swim! My daughter is a bit of an anxious girl, but from the first day this team was on top of it. Ms. Mia helped calm her nerves and she learned how to swim and how to be safe. Mrs. Corley, the owner, is always involved and helping any way she can. The teachers are always calm and encouraging, even when the pool is full of crying kids. The facilities are beautiful and clean. Simply put, FWFS has thought of everything. Thank you for helping our girl be safe and confident in the water!

We’ve been sending our daughter to FWFSS now for 5 years and the improvement over the years has been amazing. She’s a confident swimmer and she knows her strokes. This year, at 8, she spent her summer FWFSS lessons practicing backstroke. She then took off to camp for 3 weeks and participated in a swim meet in her age group… coming in 3rd place in backstroke! So glad to be a part of this swim family. Thankful for all the kind and knowledgeable coaches.
